I am really sick and tired of all the health lies, myths, and straight-out propaganda that is fed to everyone from mainstream science and the mainstream media. In doing years of research and then finding out more truth in the first half of 2019 than I had in my entire life leading up to that point, especially when it comes to intermittent dry fasting and fasting in general, I’ve grown more and more frustrated that most people still don’t know that they’ve been lied to. I’m even more angry with the people, institutions, and big money corporations that are feeding the American public these lies.

Health Lies are Disseminated to the Public ON PURPOSE

The FDA and USDA are two of the major corrupt organizations that I’m referencing, along with all the big food companies that sell their processed crap, and of course the big pharmaceutical companies that love to see a sick, unhealthy public that needs the pills they manufacture to relieve everyone’s symptoms (which come about as a result of a bad diet in addition to no fasting).

But this stuff is obvious to anyone who’s been reading about alternative health and natural health for the past few years or more. It’s clear that it’s all a big money-making scheme, and that no one really cares about your health except for you and maybe your friends and family. So I wanted to put together this list of some of the major health lies that you’ve been told and that are continuing to be told to the masses each day. These are more than just blatant lies to make sure you spend your money in the right places. It’s also an intentional slow-kill agenda that aims to make you sick, weak, and dependent on the medical system. Most of it involves your diet, so you’ll see that nutrition is where my focus is for this post:

Top 7 Health Lies

Health Lie #1: High Cholesterol is Bad for You and Will Make You Die of a Heart Attack Tomorrow

WRONG. Just because cholesterol shows up at the scene of the crime (when a person has a heart attack) doesn’t mean that having a lot of it is bad for you. Even having high LDL has not been proven to be harmful. The interpretations of the studies are nonsense spewed from shysters who have been paid to lie to you, as is the case with all the health lies on this list. Cholesterol has been shown again and again to be vital to the human body and involved in so many critical processes in the body, such as hormonal balance. Not having enough of it is the real concern. The next time your doctor or anyone else says you should go on a poisonous statin drug to lower your cholesterol, just laugh in their face and get the heck out of there.

Here’s a good article featuring an interview with Gary Taubes about cholesterol that dispels the myth that it’s bad for you: It Really Has Been A Big Fat Lie: An Interview With Gary Taubes on Saturated Fat, Cholesterol and Carbohydrates

Health Lie #2: Saturated Fat is Bad For You (Possibly the Worst of All Health Lies)

HAHAHA. Sorry, I just had to laugh for a while there, because this one is hilarious. It would be even funnier if this lie wasn’t one of the worst health lies ever told to the western world. See this article by Dr. Mercola for the truth: Saturated Fats are Good For You

Health Lie #3: Make Sure to Eat Your Three Square Meals a Day, Plus Snacks

Maybe I should have put this one at number one because this is the absolute worst thing you can do to your body when it comes to diet. Fasting is the most important thing you can do in terms of your diet. I recommend intermittent dry fasting, but regular intermittent fasting with water, along with occasional extended fasting, is extremely beneficial to your body, mostly because of autophagy. I’d also recommend OMAD (One Meal A Day) or at most, two meals per day in a 6-hour eating window. Check out Dr. Jason Fung for some great knowledge about fasting and how constantly spiking your insulin by grazing and snacking is the absolute worst thing you can do in terms of diet: A FASTING EXPERT’S TIPS FOR MAKING IT TO YOUR NEXT MEAL

Health Lie #4: Eat Those “Healthy” Whole Grains

This one just infuriates me, because everyone everywhere, in every publication you can find, insists on putting that false word “healthy” in front of whole grains, when they are anything but. Sorry, but one of the most inflammatory, immune-suppressing, damaging foods on earth is not at all healthy, and you don’t need ANY servings per day EVER of this toxic food group let alone 6-11 servings per day, as the joke of a food pyramid suggests. Learn more about the dangers of grains from Dr. William Davis, author of the popular book “Wheat Belly,” here: There is no such thing as “healthy whole-grains”

Health Lie #5: You Need to Drink 8 Glasses of Water Per Day

Look, I even sell purified bottled water, and I’m telling you right now, you don’t really need to drink THAT much water. It’s a myth. Drink some water when you’re thirsty, or eat some high water content fruit, unless you’re in an intense weight loss mode: 8 Glasses Of Water A Day Is The Mother Of All Hydration Myths

Health Lie #6: Low Salt Diets Are Good For You

One of the worst things you can do for your health is to avoid salt. A low sodium diet is a recipe for disaster. Sodium and potassium are important electrolytes that your body needs to function correctly on a daily basis. Salt has been made a villain over the years despite no concrete evidence that it’s in any way bad or even causes any disease or disorders whatsoever. Just the opposite is true. Listen to Cole Robinson of the Snake Diet explain the importance of sodium, potassium, and electrolytes in your diet: SODIUM/POTASSIUM EXPLAINED

Health Lie #7: Sugar isn’t THAT Bad, it’s just Empty Calories

This one should be obvious to any thinking person by now, but many people in the mainstream health community still believe that while sugar might provide “empty” calories, it’s not all that damaging to your body. The fact is, sugar is virtually poison. It’s a toxic, fattening, addictive substance that does more harm to your body than just about any other common food substance in existence. Check out two articles discussing this sugar myth below:

Do Not Fall for These Dangerous Health Lies!

I could go on and on with more health lies, and I will add to this list in future posts and continue to write about more health truths, but for the time being, these are seven of the most important health lies that you should be aware of. Know the truth and apply it to your life, and you will be much healthier and fitter as a result.
