You are currently viewing How to Lose Weight…STOP EATING!

It seems like common sense, but for years, I and just about everyone else thought this was horrible, unsafe, unhealthy advice. Well, it could be if you literally starve yourself or are anorexic or bulimic, obviously. But unless you have actual eating disorders, the absolute best, most effective way to lose meaningful weight and body fat is through fasting, whether you do extended water and salt fasting, intermittent fasting, or dry fasting. And once you fast yourself down to a healthy, ripped, lean body, you can then do a proper eating routine through OMAD. This works wonders for weight maintenance, especially if your one meal a day is low carb, high protein, and fairly high in fat.

See, when I used to hear people say that to lose weight they needed to stop eating so much, I thought that was faulty thinking. Clearly, I thought, not eating anything at all for an extended amount of time couldn’t be good for you. It would slow down your metabolism, and deprive you of key nutrients like vitamins and minerals that you had to put into your system each and every day. Well, that type of thinking was nonsense.

Fasting is the Best Thing You Can Do For Your Health

Nothing could be healthier than intermittent fasting. And to increase the autophagy effects, intermittent dry fasting is even more effective, as I’ve explained in past blog posts. But in reality, if you are obese or very overweight, or even just skinny fat, meaning you need to lose some body fat even though you might look decent in clothes, then I would follow the Cole Robinson Snake Diet philosophy. And that means that you fast, with a combination of dry fasting and snake juice fasting (snake juice is water, salt, and potassium), and that you keep going on the fast until you basically are down to the weight and body fat percentage that you want to be at. You won’t starve, and you will be in a healthier state than ever before. It’s like a factory reset for your body. Sure, it will be extremely difficult at first, but after the first few days, your body adapts and the hunger pangs are not nearly as bad if they are even present at all, and then you can kick into some serious fat burning and autophagy.

The reason this works and doesn’t even harm you, let alone kill you, is because as Cole says in the following video, your Body Fat IS Food. You can subsist off of it for days, many days if you are severely overweight. This used to be fairly common knowledge, but the three meal-a-day food pyramid establishment drilled into our heads that we should never go more than a handful of hours without food and that we need to be stuffing our faces constantly for the sake of our metabolism, energy levels, and getting sufficient nutrients. This was, of course, all lies.

So in short, don’t be fearful of not eating and starting your first extended fast if you need to lose a significant amount of weight. It won’t kill you, and it will be way more effective and successful than any other method or “diet” plan out there. If you are only looking to lose a few pounds or lose some body fat to be really lean and ripped, you can try a 48 hour fast once a week for a few weeks, and every other day eating low carb OMAD. I would keep up the OMAD lifestyle long-term though, even after you got down to the body fat percentage you wanted to be at after you do some extended fasts. Adopt this lifestyle and absorb the rest of the information on this blog and trust me, you will watch the pounds and fat melt away, and be in the kind of physical shape you were meant to be in.
